Terms of Service

1. The Service

Menaks helps you generate landing-page content and publish it to a Shopify store you connect. Features, limits, and pricing may change as the Service evolves.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate registration details.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Connecting your Shopify store

When you connect a store, you authorize Menaks to access and modify the resources you grant (themes, products) to provide the Service. You are responsible for your store, your Shopify account, and for complying with Shopify's terms. You can disconnect a store at any time from your dashboard.

4. AI-generated content

• Landing-page content is generated with AI and provided "as is".
• You must review all content before publishing. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, claims, pricing, and legal compliance (including advertising and consumer-protection laws) of any content you publish to your store.
• Menaks does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or infringing purposes.
• Generate content that is false, misleading, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its underlying theme/software without our written permission.

6. Intellectual property

Menaks and its licensors own the Service, including the application, the underlying landing theme, and all related software and design. You retain ownership of your own store content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and the content generated for your store, subject to these Terms.

7. Fees

The Service may be offered free during early access and on paid plans thereafter. Pricing and billing terms for paid plans will be presented before you subscribe.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MENAKS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Menaks harmless from claims arising out of content you publish, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice within the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
